First, thanks in advance for writing me a thing. You are awesome.
Gonna just copy the likes and dislikes from my prompts and then add a bit, so...
General things I like: family things, especially found family. Family bonding is also good. Gen things, though shipping is great too. I love AUs so even if the specific prompt doesn't mention them, AUs are always an option. I am a sucker for hurt/comfort as long as there's plenty of comfort.
I've tried to include specific romance options for each fandom, but gen is also definitely an option for anything. I also like things to end relatively hopeful/happy.
Things I do not like: Characters dying or getting permanently injured, A/B/O or mpreg. If characters die in canon and you're writing about that part in canon, that's okay, but please don't describe it graphically or kill off anyone who doesn't die in canon.
Okay so for more detail about specific things, let's see.
Fandom 1: Dream Daddy
I am super interested in all the kids but I love Lucien the best out of the kids, so. I have many questions! What happened to his other parental unit? Does he interact much with the other kids in the neighbourhood? He's kind of antisocial but from my experience, the older kids on the block tend to be conscripted as babysitters to the younger kids. Does he hang out with Ernest often, when he's not trying to brick him in? Did Val Small babysit him when he was younger? What house would he be in if he went to Hogwarts? There is basically no way to go wrong with this though, honestly.
If you go with romance, I'd be fine with him dating Ernest, Hazel or Briar, or Amanda. Gen is also A+, of course.
Fandom 2: Stardew Valley
I have many questions about Stardew Valley too, so... let's see. I had two separate files so that I could date both Sebastian and his sister and still didn't get any answers to my questions. Like, Demetrius never mentions him? At all? Robin mentions both her kids, Maru and Sebastian refer to each other, but... his stepdad actually never mentions him once. Not even if you're married to Sebastian. Or are best friends with Demetrius himself, at which point you'd think he'd confide in you about his stepson issues. But like, they seem unfamiliar with each other, so did Sebastian move in just before you? What was his childhood like, because judging by Maru's apparent age, his parents had to have split up young? And yet, he seems to be good friends with Sam and Abigail, so... I don't know. Make up stuff about his backstory, make him and Maru slowly making friends, whatever floats your boat.
Gen is absolutely fine but if you want to ship him, feel free to go with Sam or Abigail or whatever gendered farmer, who you can just name Farmer if they come up. Unless you prefer another name. I'm not terribly picky. In case you can't tell from me going “I don't care whatever you want is fine” all over this letter.
Fandom 3: The Dalemark Quartet
Dude, I love Moril so much. Like, you literally cannot go wrong with a fic about Moril unless you kill him off or something. Like I said in the actual prompt, if you want to stick with canon, backstory would be cool. We see a lot of him and Brid, but not so much him and Dagner. A lot of him with Clennen, but not so much with his mother (I don't have the books on hand and her name escapes me right now, whoops.) Otherwise, something post Cart & Cwidder where he's travelling would be cool, general introspection around that time or during the Crown of Dalemark would be awesome, etc etc. Any kind of AU is fine by me, too. Admittedly my favourite headcanon for him is that he's an Undying and he and Mitt hang out in the intervening years while Mitt's waiting for Maewen.
If romance is involved, I'm cool with Moril/Mitt or Moril/Maewen, but I am also perfectly happy with gen stuff.
Fandom 4: Inda Series
The Fox in particular is one of my favourite books ever, because I loved Fox in Inda and I was excited to see him again, and just... the trio of Marlovens working together on things made me happy. It'd be interesting to try and translate the politics of Inda to an AU, but canon also works just fine for me. One of my favourite scenes was Fox sneaking in to rescue Inda from the Venn near the end of The Fox, so I'd love fic around that – the continuation of their escape, or just them talking about it later. Introspection around anything in that book is also cool, and like I said in my prompt, Barend and Fox's relationship is another thing I really like. Feel free to do canon divergence too, if that floats your boat.
If romance is involved, Barend is an option, or one-sided with Inda is also fine.
Fandom 5: Emelan
Like I said in the main prompts thing, Briar's my favourite, so if you just pick one character to write around, I'd prefer him. But only by a tiny itty-bitty margin, so if you have an idea around one of the others, go nuts. I love this whole quartet so much. I like how they all have different relationships with each other, so anything exploring how they all interact would be cool. Some stuff around Will of the Empress would be neat – either after they've all come home but before the Duke comes to send them to Namorn, or right after they come back from Namorn and they're all still dealing with things. Does Sandry have nightmares about being kidnapped? Does Briar ever come clean(er) about his own nightmares?
If romance is involved, any ships within the quartet are fine, though I'm partial to Briar/Sandry, Sandry/Daja, or polycircle, or you can keep it gen.

If you're sitting here like, "well, none of these canon prompts are doing it for me, didn't they say something about AUs?" Yes. Yes I did. AUs are awesome. I am down for the basic trope-y ones like modern AU or superhero AU or genderswap AU or soulmate AU. I'm also down for a variety of fandom AUs, and I'll list a couple here for if you need ideas:
* Leverage AU
* Hogwarts AU
* Voltron AU (or basically any kind of sentai team thing)
* Dragonriders of Pern
* Star Wars
* Pacific Rim
* Any of my other requested fandoms - stick the Emelan team in the setting for Stardew Valley, or the Dalemark people in the Emelan world, or whatever floats your boat.
(I'm really not picky, though, you obviously don't have to include anything from this if you already have ideas to write about. I am happy with anything involving any of the characters I've asked for.)
